Fist of the North Star

Hi Vivi, This comic book was my first favorite post-apocaliptic story, it was written in the 1980’s, and the fear a the destruction of the world by nuclear weapons was high. But it wasn’t the destructed world that I loved, was the martial arts lore and how the three brothers represented the philosophy of martial arts, the strength for protection, the knowledge for medicine, the agressiveness for domination. I would read over and over again this comicbook on my 16’s and 17’s while listening to Ozzy Osbourne, and the song Crazy Train became the soundtrack of this comic book to the point I can’t listen or read one without feeling the other....

Video Girl Ai

Hi Vivi, When I was a 13, on saturdays every two weekends I would walk 2km to the train station, to go to the comic book store. I was in love with everything there, fantasy, sci-fy, a huge amount of stories in comic books and books, it was my heaven. The clerk would tell me that it wasn’t a library, I couldn’t read there I had to buy it. My first comic book collection was Video Girl Ai, printed by Norma Comics, I was very intriged by Japan at the time and this was one of the few comics from there that at the time was being translated at the time....
