I want to talk to you about this, because I know that is not the type of thing that you are going to listen in the US, even that some citizens make proper efforts to explain it.
I grew up 3.500 miles away from the US border and 20 miles away from a US military base.
Today the US has 800 military bases outside their territory, the rest of all the other military bases outside the territory of their country combined is 30. The US in my childhood the world police and still is.
People like George Lucas and James Cameron made sci-fy movies critiquing the empirelistic and capitalistic actions of the US with Star Wars and Avatar.
