This movie took me by surprise, I don’t remember where I saw it, but I remember how I felt when I watched it.
The script and the editing elevate this action film. “Less is more”, and “show don’t tell” are constantly present, the world building is amazing, and the story is simple.
This movie is entertainment, and it became a cult film with four sequels, as at this moment, and a lot of similarly inspired movies like Atomic Blonde or Nobody.
For me the first is the one that matters. And if you want to enjoy an action film this is a good one.
