[Oran] (https://goo.gl/maps/nHsFqtapyYndcq569) is my mother’s father, Fernando, birth place, he was son of French colonizers, they were called Pied-Noir, it means “Black feet”, the name comes because they French used black shoes at the time.
I’ve never been in the country, only seen images online and it looks amazing, a place to visit in winter. Is very mediteranian, for me it has this very understandable architecture of the old world because when I went to Texas it took me a while to understand why things where build how they did it.
