When I was a 13, on saturdays every two weekends I would walk 2km to the train station, to go to the comic book store.
I was in love with everything there, fantasy, sci-fy, a huge amount of stories in comic books and books, it was my heaven. The clerk would tell me that it wasn’t a library, I couldn’t read there I had to buy it.
My first comic book collection was Video Girl Ai, printed by Norma Comics, I was very intriged by Japan at the time and this was one of the few comics from there that at the time was being translated at the time.
It was a new type of storytelling and fiction. I was hooked, and it became a period where I read all the comics I could.
