I know that the first years of your life you grew up with a raised garden, I built that structure so mom could plant and gather food. You have experienced the beauty of nature and it’s cycles.

Humans are the only animal that takes raw food and can produce something totally different, and that skill it’s so important that transcends cultures and races, wherever you go you can learn from somebody by eating their food, and you can tell them about you by cooking a meal.

By the way, you were so good at placing your fingers away from the blade at only 2 years old. I really enjoyed those moments seeing your learning a new skill, they filled me with pride and joy.

What I’ve learned about food:

  • Taste everything once before choosing if you like or not.
  • After sometime, if they offer you food that you didn’t like, give it another chance, taste changes over time.
  • Eat healthy most of the days and allow you pleasures from time to time.
  • Give time to miss some flavours, going back to them will be amazing.
  • Food is passion, love, connection, gathering… be playful when you cook and discover the world around you.

I grew up in the mediterranean, it’s such a rich food culture, I’m looking forward to share with you treausers.
