USA, the empire

Hi Vivi, I want to talk to you about this, because I know that is not the type of thing that you are going to listen in the US, even that some citizens make proper efforts to explain it. I grew up 3.500 miles away from the US border and 20 miles away from a US military base. Today the US has 800 military bases outside their territory, the rest of all the other military bases outside the territory of their country combined is 30....

Mexico DF, Mexico

Hi Vivi, This was me at 33 years old trying to live in Mexico. At the time my heart was broken and living in Barcelona was just a trigger of sad events. I tested for 85 days to live in Mexico in late spring 2014. I loved the city, but had a cultural shock trying to do business with them made not move forward. The food was amazing, I would mostly eat street tacos and chilaquiles....

Living in the desert by the coast

Hi Vivi, One of the details that tricks my mind living here is that every plot of land that hasn’t been worked by man is sand, to go to do my shoping I walk over sand and it tricks my mind to think I’m in the beach, and not in any beach. To Emirates it is

Hi Vivi, I’ve deceided to move to Emirates. Dubai is a financial and technological hub very business friendly. I wouldn’t consider it as a place to move with family but for entrepreneurship hits in the right places. Still love the idea of Finland of a place to be together as a family, but for the time being we are not together and also I feel like being there by myself yould make me feel a little bit sad....

Noirmoutier

Noirmoutier is a little island by the west coast of France where I went every summer for two weeks as a child. My grandmother, on my dads side owned a house just by the beach, with no TV or any other form of entertainment. When we arrived there we had bycicles and me, my siblings and cousins would ride all over the island going to the beach, to get icecream, to the waterpark....

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Hi Vivi, Amsterdam is in my radar, of course the biking is very important to me because brings quality life, no need of gym to bring up your body activity and also the cheaper to live. There is this dutch bike called the bakfiets that I would like to have with you in your childhood.Instead of going in the car all the time, you would discover the world in a slower way and from a better position....

Oulu, Finland

Hi Vivi, I’ve found this city that I didn’t even know that existed, is in the middle of Finland. It’s called the Amsterdam of the north and is the winter cycling capital. I found it thanks to this viedo. Looks beautiful, and I’m sure you would love to cycle on the snow to go to school. I’m going to check more about it to see if it’s going to be the place to go, maybe during the second half of 2022....
